Volunteer Opportunities

    Home Volunteer Opportunities

    As a volunteer you would helping our vulnerable residents who do not have a support network during this pandemic.

    If you would like to volunteer please contact your resident services officer or email customerservices@leathermarketjmb.org.uk

    Along with JMB staff, the support we want to provide for residents without family/ friendship support networks are:

    • Telephone contact and support
    • Help to get food, medicine
    • Mobile phone/ IT coaching for residents who are having to do activities remotely that they are used to do in person
    • Provide income maximization advice
    • Support residents who need help from other agencies.

    All support will be in guidelines with the government advice and we will not ask you to do something that will put you at risk.

    We are holding video calls via Zoom on Mondays at 6pm, an app which can be downloaded to a smartphone, tablet or PC. We also have a whatsapp group which you can join to get regular updates.
