Most, but not all residents, in the Council’s new build, at Villiers Court are without water and heating. Extensive areas of pipework are frozen and we are not able to tackle this, so far. We are:
· Talking to residents individually
· Supporting vulnerable residents
· Providing bottled water or reimbursing the cost
· Providing fan heaters
We think that we are probably going to have to wait for the temperature to rise and the pipework to thaw. This will bring its own problems, as some pipework will burst.
