The JMB has been awarded Cleaner Greener Safer funding from the Borough, Bankside and Walworth Community Council to carryout gardening improvements to the central garden area at Elim Estate.
Residents have long talked about the need to improve the tidy but uninspiring grassed area and this is the second bid made to the Council to secure money for improvements. The £10,800 award will make a big difference to the look of the estate and residents will be involved in helping to design the new look.
More information regarding the project can be obtained from either Adam Evans or Anne Timeyin at the JMB.
