Engineers have been working since yesterday to fix problems with the system. Significantly, we are advised that there was a defective boiler which, is now fully operational again.
Hot water priority
Disappointingly, it seems that efforts to prioritise heating over hot water contributed to the significant problems encountered on Monday and Tuesday. We have therefore switched back to prioritising hot water. A few properties will continue to get both services. However if you are not receiving hot water please let us know.
Replacement pumps are on their way
The good news is that our consultants tell us that we should be in a position to fit replacement pumps next week, instead of mid December, as previously anticipated. This should hopefully provide both heat and hot water on a much more reliable basis until an entirely new heating system can be installed.
Once again, we would like to thank everyone for their continued patience while we have tried to deal with some very challenging circumstances. Please be assured we will continue to do everything we possibly can to minimise the discomfort and inconvenience caused by this reduction in services.
