Historically T.Brown have experienced electrical power spikes in this area of the borough which has caused recent plant failure to which they have been in contact with EDF, the explanation given was they are working towards renewing electrical phases in the borough which supply our area.
T.Brown is not far off completing installing a BMS (Building Management System) early warning system of possible failure which is networked to them; this will ensure a faster response in the event of a breakdown.
Adding to the problems of power spikes it was established that the flue extractor fan located on the boiler house roof had also been causing intermittent problems during the recent bad weather which has now been resolved.
T.Brown have increased the operative attendance to check the boilers and monitor to ensure that all issues are now resolved,
