Mutual Housing Event

An event to discuss the Co-op approach to building more affordable homes to rent will be held on at 7:30pm on 7 May 2009 at Bermondsey Village Hall, Leathermarket Gardens, London SE1 3TD.

Leathermarket JMB have been looking into this Co-op model of housing using the Community Land Trust structure as Southwark Council has been consulting with tenants and residents groups on whether more affordable housing can be built on the Borough's estates.

The event will be chaired by Leathermarket JMB Director Cormac Hollingsworth and will discuss the Community Land Trust model and how it might work locally. For more information download the leaflet detailing the event (pdf, 160kb).
