Meeting about Rough Sleeping

A follow-up meeting for all residents concerned about rough sleeping in the Leathermarket area is to be held 6.30pm on Wednesday 17 March 2010 at Bermondsey Village Hall SE1 3UG.

This follows the successful meeting held for JMB, Guinness Trust and other local residents was held on the 10th February 2010 at the Bermondsey Village Hall.

The purpose of the meeting was to bring officials and people working with rough sleepers to answer people's concerns about the rough sleeping problems within the parks and estates in the Leathermarket area. The meeting was well attended and questions were raised to the panel of invited guests including Cllr Linda Manchester & Valerie Shawcross AM.
