Meeting on plans for 72 new homes on Harper Road site

Lawson Tenants and Residents Association will hold a meeting to discuss plans for 72 new homes on the JMB land at Harper Road at 6:30pm on Thursday 15 July 2010 at The Roundhouse, Cardinal Bourne Street.

The meeting will discuss the planned development of a 7-storey block of flats and a row of houses on land between Harper Road, Falmouth Road and Symington House, London SE1.

The development is being put forward by housing association Family Mosaic in conjunction with Southwark Council. The current plans show the large block coming to within 12 feet of the back wall of the Falmouth Road flats.

Representatives from Family Mosaic and Southwark Council have been invited to the meeting. The local councillors have also been invited and have already indicated they are keen to support residents in their views on this development.
