Leathermarket JMB are looking to recruit a Housing Officer with extensive knowledge of tackling anti-social behaviour, the law as it applies to secure tenants and experience supporting vulnerable residents.
The ideal candidate is somebody who is self motivated, with a can do attitude, willing to go the extra mile to offer support to our residents. You will have substantial experience in housing management, or be qualified to Chartered Institute of Housing level / hold a housing degree. We will consider strong applicants with experience in similar fields with transferable skills, or with related qualifications.
A significant part of the job will be dealing with antisocial behaviour and other breaches of tenancy / leaseholder agreements and enforcing JMB policies and procedures. You must have strong knowledge of housing law and how it applies in practice, with knowledge of effective strategies for managing such behaviour.
