Unfortunately one of the boilers in the plant room developed a fault Sunday night and this resulted in the failure of the hot water services on Monday. Please accept our apologies for this additional disruption to services. Our engineers however were on site for much of yesterday and again today dealing with the problem and additional issues when the system was fired up.
Priority switch to heating
In our last letter to you we said that until we can fit new pumps there is only capacity to supply either hot water or heat (although a few properties still have both). Due to a drop in temperature over the weekend we have reviewed the situation and have asked engineers to switch priority to heating as from Monday evening.
In our previous letters we advised you that our consultants thought it may be possible to install new pumps within a four week time frame. We checked with consultants again yesterday and they still think this is feasible. If this changes we will let you know.
Once again, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and discomfort caused as a result of these ongoing problems. However, we can assure you we are doing everything we possibly can to restore a fully functioning heating and hot water service to the estate.
